Raison d’Être

Chester & Fourth is the brainchild of a group of McMaster University alumni who wanted to do consulting differently.

Our founding vision was to bridge the gap between academia and practice by excelling in both, build genuine relationships with clients and colleagues, and deliver high-quality solutions at more reasonable prices and faster turnaround times than competitors.

In short, we set out to create a workplace that unlocks human innovation, rather than stifling it with outdated, profit-obsessed rules.

What started as a one-person business in 2021 has since evolved into an incorporated advisory firm, with prominent clients in several countries and a steadily growing network of like-minded experts from around the world.

Whether by accident or design, we have found a particularly receptive audience for our services within the nonprofit sector.

As we enter the next phase of our development, we hope to inspire more mission-driven organizations and leaders to think beyond the next quarter and invest in initiatives that provide lasting guidance, resilience, and inspiration.
