Raison d’Être

Chester & Fourth is the brainchild of a group of McMaster University alumni who wanted to do consulting differently.

Our founding vision was to bridge the gap between academia and practice by excelling in both, build positive and lasting relationships with clients, and deliver high-quality solutions at more accessible prices and faster turnaround times than competitors.

In short, we set out to create a workplace that unlocks human innovation instead of stifling it with outdated, profit-obsessed rules.

What started as a one-person business in 2021 has grown into an incorporated advisory firm, serving well-respected clients across multiple countries and building a global network of trusted, like-minded experts.

Whether by accident or design, we have found a particularly receptive audience for our services within the social sector.

On this next chapter of our journey, we aim to inspire more mission-driven organizations to abandon short-term thinking and off-the-shelf fixes and invest in initiatives that provide lasting guidance, resilience, and inspiration.
